"Here are some photos of what I spun from my sock kit - Clematis. I am a new spinner... so I made a scarf. The yarn was soft and yummy and the color is just beautiful. Every one comments on it. Thank you."

I just wanted you to know how much I am enjoying Fondle This. I like that you send a pattern with the fiber as it encourages trying different spinning techniques, and even though I didn't use the pattern for January I am planning on using the ones for February and March. I look forward to them every month.
I'm sending an attached picture of my January project which I just finished. I plied the baby llama with a strand of 10/2 peacock blue tencel and then used two strands of tencel to knit a lace edging for the diagonal knit lace scarf (shawlette). The edging took a little longer than I expected but I think it looks nice. All of the fibers I have received from you have been lovely to work with, the projects are thoughtfully designed and I think by the end of the year I will have tried several things I might not have done without Fondle This! |

My favorite---Clematis alpaca/merino/silk

I think it will be the snuggliest scarf on the planet! I don’t think I’ve ever spun a fiber I love more, or colours I love more than this stuff! And knitting it is pure heaven... the pattern is Springtime from the 200 ripple stitch pattern book |

Over the holiday weekend I finished my second pair of socks, this time using a kitchener stitch toe.... it looks good. I LOVE MY SOCKS!!! The pattern is the "Seduction Socks" from Interweave Knits. The colorway is called Golden Sunset. I've named my socks "Queen Bee Socks" because they just remind me of bees and beehives and it just screamed "Look at me!"
