We are delighted to be carrying these compact versatile wheels. They come as unfinished kits or completed in clear or dark finishes.

"Well, I have been spinning a lot since I received my lovely wheel. It´s not so hard at all to spin thin threads with it and I also have learned very quickly how to change the spring tension.
I really love that wheel!
Now my spinning is so much faster when I have 2 treadles to control the speed with.
My new wheel is fantastic!" Monica H.
"Thanks so much Susan! I'm going to keep buying spinning accessories from you! I love your prompt and friendly service." Jennifer R.
Hi Susan,
I love the wheel.
"My wheel arrived Wednesday afternoon. I have already put it together. I actually took pictures of the assembly process and put it on my blog. I've started spinning. It seems a little stiff compared to my Traveller. I expect that will work its way out with more oil and use. I am very happy with this wheel. I plan on taking it to my spinning group tomorrow. Even though it is about the same weight as my Traveller the Baynes is easier to carry. It's not as wide as the Traveller and I guess that makes the difference. The wood is lovely. I'm anxious to start spinning the fiber that you sent. It is such a pretty color and so soft. I have a friend who is interested in Baynes and I have already recommended your web site.
Thank you and happy spinning,"
Phyllis

A mid-1870's Saxony style American Flax wheel which is excellent for lace through sport weight wool spinning. It has a 24" oak wheel with lovely turned maple spokes. The ratios are 12:1 and 19:1.
It is unsigned and has some hard to tell replaced parts so is very reasonable at $350 + shipping.
