Louet S15 - SOLD
It's a workhorse of a wheel. Great for beginners or as a plying wheel since it has those large capacity bobbins.
Comes with three 6 - 8oz bobbins and an integral metal Lazy Kate which holds 2 bobbins to the left of the treadle. Also comes with a Louet Skeinwinder that fits on the back support above the maiden.
This wheel is about 10 - 15 years old but still in great shape. The wood has darkened from new but otherwise the original parts, except for minor replacements by Jim, are still with the wheel.
The S15 was discontinued by Louet in January, 2010. Extra bobbins can still be found on other websites.

Clemes and Clemes Modern- SOLD
Comes with 3 bobbins, a stand alone Lazy Kate and an orifice hook.
It was well cared for but does show some wear and darkening of the wood. Clemes & Clemes Wheels are not highly finished when new so the lamination has chipped in a few places but has been sanded.
This is a very sturdy double drive wheel. As you can see it can be treadled single footed or withe both feet in tandem.
Weighs 25 pounds. Once that wheel gets going it has lots of momentum for long term spinning.

From the Clemes description - It is a compact castle wheel built of solid maple, birch and a multi-layered maple plywood that we laminate here in our shop. All parts are cut, drilled and pre-fitted before packaging. The wood can be finished or left natural and should give many years of service.
The wheel is 16” in diameter with ball bearings for smooth operation. The treadle is of the heel-toe design to allow starting and stopping without having to touch the wheel. The flyer is dual belt drive with a 3/8” orifice. The bobbins are of generous size for those
who like to spin yarns towards the heavier size or prefer not to change bobbins as often.
