Bunny Sock Hop™   2008-9        

Hopping over months with hand dyed and original patterned sock kits that will come out in November, January, March, May/June, and September.  Plus an optional bonus kit in July. The patterns and colorways remain exclusive to the Sock Hop membership for 6 months.

We are honored to have two guests this year - Each will be designing one sock for you - Leah Oakley, who designs patterns and teaches knitting in TN and Renee Leverington of Goddess Knits and Mystery Shawl fame.

Each month will bring you a unique pattern with enough yarn to make up to a large pair of women's socks or up to a medium pair of men's.   Most of the socks will be using 5 dpns or two #2 circular needles. Those of you who do Magic Loop can easily translate. All patterns come in a clear plastic sheet protector.   We also have our very own Ravelry discussion group.

	November is River Rafting   - hand dyed deep reds, blues & greens in superwash merino/tencel yarn  This sock is perfect for beginner sock knitters and experienced knitters alike.  The directions are super clear and easy to follow. 	January is Snowball A toe up comfy soft fuzzy sock knit with snowball bobbles in cashgora/merino. Hand dyed in pale teals. Calls for sport weight yarn and size US2/2.75mm and US 2.5/3mm for medium and US2/2.75mm and US3/3.25mm for large. Pattern $5.00
	March is - Cliodna - a cuff down Cabled delight with a Tree Sprit option. Superwash merino/tencel yarn dyed in shades of periwinkle. designed by Goddess Knits, dyed by Susan
	May/June is - By the Sea* A toe up eyelet sock with sea shells by the seashore. We have seacell yarn!   Get thee some size US 1.5/2.5mm needles.  This pattern is written for two 24" circs.
	September is  Braque's Socks * A tonal colored sock with a 10 stitch repeat and an Estonian Cast-on, reminiscent of Cubist paintings. Rich and warm.   Cuff down on sportweight yarn.
	Our BONUS sock is Sweeter Than Honey* cuff down, in superwash merino/bamboo/nylon fingering yarn. A tribute to honey bees and their delicious sweet product.

Full subscription - billed every month for 5 or 6 months - You will be sent a kit about the second or third week of each month in November, January, March, May/June and September and, if you choose, also in July.  Paypal will automatically bill your account or credit card each month.
