By popular demand we started a subscription sock of the every other month club for 2006-7. Folks were so enthusiastic about our hand dyed colorways and my sock patterns that we are entering into our second knitting adventure. One of the things we are lauded about and that make our club special is that our colors and designs match the names we have given them.
Hopping over months with hand dyed and original patterned sock kits that come out in November, January, March, May/June, and September. Plus an optional bonus kit in July. The patterns and colorways remain exclusive to the Sock Hop membership for 6 months.
Each month will bring you a unique pattern with enough yarn to make up to a large pair of women's socks or up to a medium pair of men's. Directions will be given for 2 women's sizes. Most of the socks will be using a #2dpn. Those of you who do Magic Loop can easily translate. All patterns come in a clear plastic sheet protector. November is Aurora Borealis* - hand dyed blues, pale greens with a bit of purple / pink in a luscious cashgora/merino yarn paired with a glistening thread. This pattern features a shimmering diagonal rib. Very lovely, colorful and soft.
